Technical browsing information

The analytics tools built into the website automatically log a set of technical data on each page visit:

  • IP address (anonymised prior to storage)
  • Browser and its version number
  • Operating system in use
  • Pages viewed, date, time and session length
  • Visit source (search engine, direct link, referring site)
  • Screen size and device type (phone, tablet, desktop)

Contributions and reviews

When a visitor posts a review through the dedicated form, the following details are stored:

  • First name
  • Rating (1 to 5)
  • Review title and body

No email addresses, passwords or banking details are requested or retained.

How We Use Data

The information collected serves the following objectives:

  • Site optimisation — studying browsing patterns to improve content, interface and speed
  • Review management — moderating and displaying feedback on the relevant product pages
  • Protection — identifying and blocking abusive behaviour, spam and fraud

Affiliate Redirections

The website includes redirect links to the Amazon platforms (Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.it, Amazon.es). When a visitor clicks one of these links:

  • They are taken to the corresponding online store
  • The retailer may place an affiliate cookie to identify the transaction
  • The retailer may collect information under its own privacy policy

CGGK does not share any personal information with these retailers. Only the redirect click is recorded.

Retention Periods

  • Technical data — deleted no later than 26 months after the last visit
  • Published reviews — kept for as long as they appear on the site, unless removal is requested
  • Cookies — from end of session up to a maximum of 13 months, depending on type

Data Access

Personal data is neither sold, assigned nor leased. Only the following parties may access it:

  • Hosting provider — Contabo GmbH (Munich, Germany), for the technical operation of the website
  • Judicial authorities — solely upon legal requirement

Protective Measures

CGGK employs appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect data:

  • Encrypted communications via HTTPS (TLS/SSL protocol)
  • Access limited to authorised personnel only
  • Regular maintenance of software and server
  • Anti-spam filters on all website forms

International Transfers

proscenic.be is hosted in Germany (Contabo GmbH, Munich). CGGK, the publishing company, is based in the United States. Data may therefore be transferred or processed outside the European Economic Area. Any such transfers comply with the safeguards laid down in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Your Rights

The GDPR grants every user the following rights over their personal data:

  • Rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data

  • Objection (Art. 21) — challenge processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdrawal of consent — possible at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing

We undertake to reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO or the data-protection authority in your country of residence.

Minors

proscenic.be is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. No data is knowingly collected from minors. If a legal guardian discovers that a child has submitted information via the website, they may contact us to request its deletion.

Changes to this Policy

This document may be revised at any time. Updates are published on this page together with the revision date. Regular review is recommended.
